Cancer Support for the Classroom

GCC @ School offers free educational and support services for students from preschool through high school who are returning to school after a cancer diagnosis and/or treatment. Our aim is to promote peer support by fostering understanding of a cancer diagnosis and its effects on the classroom environment.

What is provided:

• A developmentally appropriate presentation by a trained professional, tailored to meet the specific needs of the classroom
• A curriculum designed to create a supportive environment
