First up in our Meet the Team series is Megan Borowski!

About Megan
Megan Borowski is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the same institution.

Since 2014, Megan has been dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal growth. She began as a school social worker in Chicago and has since supported non profits in mental health and programmatic roles.

Outside of her professional life, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new neighborhoods, hiking in nature, reading fiction, and cherishing moments with her nieces and nephews.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
The amazing team here and the immensely supportive community of members that I get to work with every day.

What is your go-to coffee order (or favorite drink to start the day)?
Black with cinnamon

Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I have really flexible thumbs

What is a TV show, movie, or book you could rewatch or reread over and over?
TV Show: Outlander

It’s lunch time, what are you eating?
A bagged salad or a tuna melt from O’Leary’s

What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
Cook, TV, Workout, Read… in that order

Do you have pets?
Two cats

If you could pick up a new skill or hobby instantly, what would it be?
Playing guitar or being able to sing… professionally well

What’s the best concert or live event you’ve ever attended?
Ed Sheeran – So good live!

What’s one thing on your bucket list you’re determined to check off?
Doing a Highlights Unbridled weeklong horse trek in Scotland

Ukrainian Village, Uptown, Humboldt Park, Roscoe Village
