Next in our Meet the Team series is LauraJane Hyde!

LauraJane, Chief Executive Officer, joined Gilda’s Club Chicago in 1998 and became Executive Director in 1999. In 2006, she took on the title of Chief Executive Officer. Prior to 1998, she was the Director of Donor Development for the Chicago chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She began her development career at The Northwestern Memorial Foundation, and her post-college career started with the Chicago White Sox. She has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit development and administration. LauraJane has represented Cancer Support Community (formerly Gilda’s Club Worldwide) at a number of conferences and on various task forces. She currently serves on the board of the Magnificent Mile Charitable Foundation. She has also served as the Affiliate CEO Representative on the Cancer Support Community Board of Directors.

All of them.

The people I’m honored to meet and their stories.

Keurig on the third floor with the team.

Sherman (technically Bradford’s but we know the truth) 🙂

If you could pick up a new skill or hobby instantly, what would it be?
An ability to carry a tune.

Rolling Stones with my brother

What is the one thing on your bucket list you’re determined to check off?
Every day is a bucket list for me

Lincoln Park/Lakeview

Are you a life-long Chicagoan or are you a transplant? If a transplant, from where?
Life-long except for college

Who is in your family?
My sister and my nephew, both of whom I adore
