Next in our Meet the Team series is Katrina Myhra!

Katrina Myhra, Associate Director, Clubhouse Programs, joined Gilda’s Club Chicago in 2025 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago and has more than 15 years of experience working in community mental health, nonprofits, and hospital settings. Katrina has worked extensively throughout the Chicagoland area providing individual and family therapy in additional to presenting to various groups and organizations within the educational, criminal justice, and medical fields on a local and national level.

What’s your go-to coffee order (or favorite drink to start the day)?
Coffee with cream, or a dirty chai for a fun treat

It’s lunch time, what are you eating?
Pretty good chance that it is either pasta or any type of Asian cuisine 

What’s your most memorable travel experience or dream destination?
Japan and Cambodia

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
A walk or run around the neighborhood, a tasty dinner, and a true crime documentary

What’s the best concert or live event you’ve ever attended?
Lady Gaga at Wrigley Field

Favorite Chicago neighborhood or burb?
West town and Ravenswood

Are you a life-long Chicagoan or are you a transplant?
Originally from Michigan but now have lived in Chicago for nearly 20 years
