Art of Resilience Gallery

A collection of artwork that reflects the many ways hope takes shape during and after a cancer experience.

Art of Resilience 2026: Art of Hope

Art has the power to express what words cannot.

Art of Resilience is a community gallery featuring artwork created by people impacted by cancer. This year’s theme, Art of Hope, explores how hope shows up in different ways, big or small.

Gallery Event: June 20, 2026
Submission Deadline: May 11, 2026

Be Part of the Gallery

Share What Hope Looks Like to You

We are accepting submissions for the 2026 gallery.

We are especially looking for artwork created as part of your cancer experience, whether through one of our Creative Arts classes or on your own. We encourage pieces created within the past year, though older work will still be considered.

You do not need to be a professional artist. You simply need something that feels meaningful to you.

We welcome many forms of creative expression, including:

  • Painting
  • Drawing
  • Photography
  • Sculpture
  • Mixed media
  • Fiber art
  • Writing or poetry
  • Wearable art (crochet, knitting, sewing, jewelry etc.)

If you’ve taken a class with us, you may already have something worth sharing!

Submission Deadline: May 11, 2026

Why It Matters

Creative Expression as Part of Healing

Art can be a powerful way to process experiences, reflect, and make sense of what can feel overwhelming.

For many in our community, creating something offers a moment of clarity, a way to express what is hard to say, and a way to feel more connected to themselves and others.

Art of Resilience creates space for those stories to be seen, shared, and supported within a compassionate community.
