As we look forward to gradually returning to in-person activities in early 2022, we know that our virtual programming will continue. So, with that in mind, we are planning to evolve into what we have called Hybrid programming. A Hybrid program will allow us to provide various forms of program delivery. Some will be both in-person and virtual, some will be just in-person, and some may stay as just virtual. Much of this will require us to test various activities to see if they work for the members, for the facilitators and for the Gilda’s Club staff. The presentation of a Hybrid program will also require us to purchase new production equipment including video monitors, cameras, microphones and lighting.
This Giving Tuesday- a global day of generosity, we look to our community to support us with donations that will help us re-open the Red Door to our Clubhouse and purchase this new Hybrid production equipment so that we can continue to provide much-needed support services to cancer patients and their families. Your help will keep those who are isolated and living with the challenges of this pandemic active, engaged and connected as well as aid in the preparation to return to the Clubhouse as we create hybrid programs.
Join us on Tuesday, November 30th or get a head start and donate today. This year, we have two anonymous donors who will match donations up to a combined total of $25,000 so every dollar you give will have double the impact. We appreciate all your support!
