Gilda’s Club Chicago will honor Bears Care, the charitable arm of the Chicago Bears, at its 25th Anniversary Dinner on June 22nd at Rockwell on the River.
The Bears have supported Gilda’s Club for 25 years and was the first professional sports franchise to work with Chicago’s cancer support community.
In 2022, Gilda’s Club Chicago was honored to elect the President of Bears Care, Jerry Azumah, to its Governing Board. Mr. Azumah is a former Pro Bowl cornerback who played seven seasons for the Chicago Bears. He is also a recipient of the esteemed Walter Payton Award which is presented annually honoring a player’s commitment to philanthropy and community impact, as well as his excellence on the field.
