Gilda’s Night In

Food and wine pairing (enough food and drink for 2) - $150

Join the Associate Board of Gilda’s Club Chicago from the comfort of your own home for a virtual food and wine tasting event. Each package consists of a Mediterranean-inspired four course meal created by Chef Perry Hendrix of Pacific Standard (enough to feed two people) and two “off the beaten path” fall-friendly bottles of wine. Chef will provide some demonstrations on the dishes as well as discuss the inspiration for each course.

Chicago-based wine educator Erin Drain (of Ole & Obrigado Wines) will be leading the session, guiding guests on the basics of how to taste wine, providing tasting notes and great stories about the history and philosophy of the wineries represented. She will also discuss the best tactics on how to pair food and wine at home, and guide guests through each of the dinner courses and how it pairs with the two selections. Whether you’re a wine novice or an expert already, you’re bound to come away from the “Night In” with some new techniques and favorite pairings!
