6:00pm Health Disparities and Cancer Treatment

7.08.2021
6:00pm - 7:00pm

Cancer does not affect each racial/ethnic group equally. We will discuss institutionalized racism, mistrust of the healthcare system, and how this affects cancer treatment. We will also examine historical events that have led to this, and what can be done moving forward to change this.

Facilitated by Kandis Draw, JourneyCare Community Health Worker
