It's strawberry & asparagus season! Let's put them to good use!

Summer Fruit Cobbler Ingredients:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2t baking powder
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen fruit (suggestions: strawberry rhubarb, peaches, nectarines, mixed berries or a combination of your favorites)
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg

Cream of Asparagus Soup Ingredients:

  • butter
  • garlic
  • 2lb asparagus
  • 2 cups chicken or veggie stock
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream (or cream substitute of your choice)
  • option: fresh dill or chives
