One of the top pediatric hospitals in the nation, Lurie Children’s provides the highest quality, family-centered care to children. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of children through patient care, research, education and advocacy.
The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Lurie Children’s treats more children with cancer and blood disorders than any other hospital in Illinois. Although cancer is rare in children, we treat 220 new patients each year for a wide range of childhood cancers. It is the top pediatric cancer program in Illinois, and ranked 11th in the nation by U.S.News & World Report.
