1. Donation payment information including donor name, address, contact information and payment information are collected through a secure website (Paypal) for the use of processing payment. Gilda’s Club Chicago does not store or retain credit card information after the gift has been processed.
2. Gilda’s Club Chicago’s donor information is not shared with, rented, traded or sold to other organizations. We will send information about Gilda’s Club Chicago’s program, events and activities that may be of interest to our donors. Gilda’s Club Chicago will honor all donor requests to be removed from organizational mailings.
3. Donations to Gilda’s Club Chicago will be acknowledged in the organization’s annual report as dictated by space limitations. We currently acknowledge gifts at the $120+ donation level. A proof of the donor listing is sent to the address on file (home address or email address) in the Club’s database prior to the printing of the annual report. Gilda’s Club Chicago will honor all requests by donors to remain anonymous.
4. Acknowledgement for gifts made in honor of an individual or in memory of an individual will be sent to the individual (or the family of the individual) as directed by the donor. We will note that a gift has been made by the donor and do not share the dollar amount of the donation.
