One of only two National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in Illinois, the Lurie Cancer Center is dedicated to scientific discovery, providing compassionate, state-of-the-art cancer care and innovative clinical trial options, and advancing medical knowledge. Outstanding basic, translational, and clinical research complements a full range of prevention, early detection, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care programs for all types of cancer.
Gilda’s Club at the Lurie Cancer Center offers a variety of mind-body workshops including chair yoga, relaxation/meditation, art/jewelry making classes, one-on-one art and art therapy, caregiver support group, and Northwester check-in group. Designed to be fun, informative and reduce stress for those undergoing cancer treatment and their loved ones, all activities are offered free of charge.

Parking
Patients and visitors can park at a discounted rate in the Northwestern Memorial Hospital garage, 222 East Huron Street, and at 321 East Erie Street. Parking garage tickets must be validated each time a car is parked.
Parking rates are:
- $13 for less than seven hours
- $28 for seven to 24 hours
