One thing that makes Gilda's Club Chicago such a special community is the enthusiasm and commitment of our volunteers and supporters. We value their contributions of time, creativity, professional skills, compassion and fun! And we depend on their energy and enthusiasm for many of our activities. Join us and get involved!

Another thing that makes Gilda's Club Chicago special is that membership is free of charge to people living with cancer.  Gilda's Club is a not-for-profit organization supported by donations from individuals, corporations and foundations.  In order to sustain our unique program, Gilda's Club Board members, staff and volunteers work hard to build a financial foundation that allows us to offer our free program to members.  In keeping with our philosophy Gilda's Club does not solicit our membership for donations, although if interested, we welcome member participation.  If you, or someone you know, would like to be kept informed about Gilda's Club special events, donation opportunities or other ways to support us, please contact Stephen Majsak stephenmajsak@gildasclubchicago.org.

The Board is comprised of a diverse group of dedicated individuals from the Chicagoland area, volunteering their skills and talents to benefit the Club. Board members participate in many different ways, such as planning fundraising events, volunteering at the Club and promoting awareness of the organization.

The Associate Board hosts several networking and fundraising events throughout the year that are open to all - connect with the Associate Board on Facebook or Twitter to learn more.

Reach out to people living with cancer and let them know there is support available. Gilda's Club staff, volunteers and members spread the word about our unique Basic III Plus Program at health fairs and community events.

We are happy to speak with groups, such as schools, universities, faith-based communities, hospitals or your workplace to help others better understand how to reach out to those living with cancer.

If you know of a potential event or community, please contact our Outreach Coordinator, Amy Coleman, at 312.464.9900.
