ABOUT US

Gilda's Club mission is to create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer - men, women, teens and children-along with thier families and friends. Innovative programming at Gilda's Club Chicago is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities for members. With 200+ activities each month and more than 10,500 visits in 2010, Gilda's Club has served members from 92 percent of Chicago zip codes. From art and yoga classes, to an indoor playground and discussion groups, the Club's door is open for those searching for support to carry them through the hard times and to celebrate the victories.

The Associate Board proudly raises money and awareness for these programs.

While each member's connection to cancer and the Club varies, all are dedicated to supporting this organization that is there through it all - for anyone who has ever been affected by cancer.

Formed in 2003, The Associate Board is comprisedd of a diverse group of dedicated individuals from the Chicagoland area, volunteering their skills and talents to benefit the Club. Board members participate in many different ways, such as planning fundraising events, volunteering at the Club, racing with the Red Door Runners and promoting awareness of the organization.
